BIRMINGHAM, Mich – The Seaholm High School track and field team hosted Avondale and North Farmington for an Oakland Activities Association (OAA) double-dual meet on Wednesday, April 22, 2026. The Maples delivered a strong performance packed with event victories, podium finishes, and personal bests (PBs) across both the boys’ and girls’ squads.

While the dual scoring format produced mixed team results, the real story belonged to the many Seaholm athletes who stepped up with standout individual efforts and relay dominance in front of the home crowd.

Girls’ Highlights

Sophomore Alexandra Green led the distance crew with a first-place finish in the 3200m run, clocking a personal best of 11:37.50. Junior Olivia Dixon placed second in the same event with a season-best 12:22.14.

Junior Alexa Barrett won the 300m hurdles in a season-best 54.89 seconds. In the field events, sophomore Megan Gray cleared 4’0″ to win the high jump, while freshman Ella Barrett took second at the same height with a personal best. Sophomore Tianna Santa Ana-Sutherland leaped a personal-best 12’10” for second place in the long jump. Senior Rocio Brantley added a third-place finish in the discus (97’8″, season best) and fourth in the shot put.

The girls’ relays were exceptional. The 4x400m Relay A team of Claire Yandora, Marianna Muzzin, Elisabeth Marcum, and Madailein Howard took first in 4:21.38, and the 4x800m Relay A squad of Claire Yandora, Olivia Dixon, Genevieve Schairer, and Quinn Baldwin also won with a time of 10:35.99. The 4x800m B team placed second. Additional strong showings came from Samantha Memmer (third in the 800m, PB) and Genevieve Schairer (third in the 1600m, PB).

Boys’ Highlights

Senior Noah Baldwin had a banner night, finishing second in the 400m dash with a personal best of 52.70 seconds and fifth in the 200m (24.55 PB). Sophomore Andrea Ardanese earned runner-up honors in both the 1600m (4:41.79 PB) and 3200m (10:29.21 season best). Junior Tyler Fipp was a double runner-up in the hurdles, posting personal bests of 16.69 in the 110m hurdles and 44.81 in the 300m hurdles.

The boys’ 4x400m Relay A team of Noah Baldwin, Can Saraydar, Nikhil Narula, and Tyler Fipp stormed to first place in 3:46.16. The 4x800m relay team placed second.

Across both squads, numerous Seaholm athletes recorded personal bests in sprints, distance events, and field events, showcasing the depth and hard work of the entire program early in the 2026 outdoor season.

The Maples will look to build on these impressive individual and relay performances at the next meet on Thursday in Romeo.
