Maples Excel at State Leadership Conference

HOSA – Future Health Professionals is a national career and technical student organization for high school (and postsecondary/collegiate) students aimed at promoting career opportunities in the healthcare industry through education, competition, and leadership development.
Please congratulate the following students for competing at the HOSA State Leadership Conference in Traverse City last week.

These students competed in various healthcare related events. Over the 2-day conference, they explored different college programs and careers in medicine. This was an amazing group and represented Seaholm very well.
Seaholm had 2 finalists at the state conference. Hiren Patel was a finalist in Extemporaneous Writing and Nikkie Kafifar won the Clinical Specialty. By winning this event, Nikkie qualified for the International Leadership Conference in June. We are so proud of this special group and can’t wait to see what they accomplish next year!
Special thanks to Mrs. Minoletti for running this great Seaholm club. Thanks also to Amy Bowman and Brenda & Mark Noren for traveling with us. They were instrumental in keeping everything running smoothly.
