Maple Trio Shuts Out Groves

Seaholm Varsity Maples 26 earned a 9-0 win over Groves on Wednesday, powered by a combined shutout from Adele Bush, Lila Nursey, and Evy Nursey. Bush picked up the win, while Lila Nursey struck out 11 over four hitless innings in relief.
Offensively, Seaholm recorded 10 hits, with Lois Cortez, Leah Stanford, and Lila Nursey each tallying two. Cortez and Nursey also drove in two runs apiece. The Maples were sharp defensively as well, committing no errors.
Seaholm will travel to Detroit Country Day for its next game Thursday.
