The Seaholm Maples beat the Royal Oak Ravens 12-11 on Monday. Maples were down 3-1 when the Maples rallied in the 2nd inning. With bases loaded, Ian Evert comes in huge with a long fly ball over the fence in left center field. Ian finished with 5 RBI’s onthe day. Maples had 14 hits on the night, best outing of the year. Dylan Furlani’s sacrifice fly to right field in the bottom of the 6th inning put the Maples ahead.
Patrick Hughes started on the bump for the Maples and allowed 6 runs and 6 hits. Ethan DeWolfe came in relief to get the win for the Maples. Maples play the Ravens Tuesday and Thursday this week.
