First-Ever BPS Boys Volleyball Game

Birmingham, MI – The MHSAA added boys volleyball as an official sport for the spring season of the 2025-26 school year, and the very first game featured BPS rivals Groves and Seaholm.
Groves won game 1 (25-16) and game 2 (25-19). Seaholm was victorious in game 3 (25-19) and Groves won the final match (17-25). Congratulations to all of the players on both teams for the courage to build something from scratch.
The inaugural Seaholm roster is led by head coach, Derek Williams. Our assistant coach is Kirk Gibbs. The JV coach is Katie Goetz, and our manager/student-coach is Izzy Janness.
