Birmingham United Girls Lacrosse Cruises Past Rochester Adams
Birmingham United delivered a dominant 17-7 victory over Rochester Adams on Monday night at Maple Field. The win was supported by a strong showing from the Birmingham Girls Lacrosse Youth program, which turned out in force for pregame activities and energized the home crowd.
The night began with an 11-5 JV victory, setting the tone for a varsity performance filled with sharp offense and stout defense.
Caitlin O’Guinn led the attack with 8 goals, while Coco Jelenic added 6 goals and dominated the draw circle with 11 draw controls. Kasey Chinonis contributed 1 goal and 2 assists, and Chloe Hefner and Jordan Schoenberg each found the net once. Defensively, Dylan Schoenberg paced the team with 3 caused turnovers, supported by strong efforts from Eden Alessi (2), Jordan Schoenberg, Maeve Boyle, Payton Garn, and Mady Coyle.
United looks to continue their 3 game winning streak and end the regular season on a strong note this Wednesday, May 13th against Bloomfield Hills Marian (#2 Ranked Division 2) at Seaholm’s Maple Field!
