Seaholm Softball Sweeps Again

Seaholm swept Oxford in a doubleheader Thursday, winning 12-1 and 11-0 behind a dominant offensive performance led by Samantha Allen. Allen drove in five runs in each game, finishing the day with two home runs and several key doubles.
Natalie Tocco, Lois Cortez, Erin Sheckell, and Gigi Hill also contributed strong performances at the plate. Sheckell went 3-for-3 in the second game, while Cortez and Tocco each collected multiple hits in the opener.
In the circle, Adele Bush earned the win in game one with six strikeouts, and Lila Nursey followed with a two-hit shutout and nine strikeouts in game two as the Maples completed the sweep.
