Seaholm Staff are Taking Steps During Michigan Moves Month
Staff members at Seaholm High School are off to an impressive start in the districtwide Step Up Challenge for Michigan Moves Month, already combining for more than 1.3 million steps since April 30.
Over the next 30 days, teachers and staff will take part in a friendly competition against other buildings across the district, encouraging healthy habits and active lifestyles through daily movement.
The challenge was created last year by physical education facilitator Derek DiGiovani to support the movement toward more healthy, active lifestyles. Since then, the event has continued to build excitement and teamwork among staff members while promoting wellness throughout the district.
