Track and Field Hosts Mott and Berkley
The home track season began today with an OAA tri-meet between Seaholm, Waterford Mott and Berkley. Several Maples had strong finishes in this early-season meet.
Congratulations to the winners of the 4×200 – Lizzi Marcum, Lexi Clark, Claire Yandora and Madailein Howard with a time of 1:53.32.
The boys 1600m featured a one-two finish by the Maples. Andrea Ardanese won the event in 4:48.70 and Noah Baldwin took second with a time of 4:50.16
Seaholm won both the boys and girls 4×400 events. On the boys side, Tyler Fipp, Nikhil Narula, Jon Saraydar and Noah Baldwin had a winning time of 3:48.34. The girls relay of Claire Yandora, Marianna Muzzin, Elisabeth Marcum and Madailein Howard won with a time of 4:31.44
The girls 300m hurdles was won by Alexa Barrett with a time of 55.22. Claire Yandora won the 800m hurdles with a time of 2:24:65, and Andrea Ardanese won the 3200m with a time of 10:29.86.
Seaholm had a great afternoon in the field events. Rocio Brantley won the discus at 91’3″. Jackson Drelles won both the high jump (5’3″) and the long jump (16’02”). Frida Titran captured the girls long jump at 10’07” and Tianna Santa Ana-Sutherland won the long jump at 12’06”.
