Victory – Maples Finish Home Season with OT Thriller
Birmingham, MI – The Seaholm Maples completed their 2025-26 season with an overtime win over Avondale 60-59.
In a balanced effort, Seaholm scoring came from 6 different Maples.

- Jada Josifovski – 11 Points
- Hazel Guffey – 10 Points
- Leah Stanford – 2 Points
Tied after four quarters, the game headed to a back-and-forth OT. With just 1.6 seconds left on the clock, the Jackets fouled Emma Drouillard. The sophomore went to the line with the game on her shoulders and hit nothing but net, leading the Maples to the 60-59 victory.
The Maples play the Yellowjackets again on Monday. The rematch is at Avondale. Seaholm’s final regular-season game is on the 24th at Royal Oak, and the Maples begin their playoffs with the MHSAA District Tournament the following week.
