Seaholm Dance Team Takes 3rd Place at Nationals

We are proud to recognize an outstanding season for our Seaholm Dance Team, who recently traveled to Orlando, Florida to compete at UDA Nationals at Disney’s ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, one of the most prestigious high school dance competitions in the country.

After winning both regional competitions earlier this season, the team earned the opportunity to compete on the national stage against elite programs from across the United States. At Nationals, our dancers competed in Division II Pom and Jazz in a highly competitive field representing nearly 40 teams nationwide across both styles.

The team opened the competition with a strong performance in Pom, advancing to the Semifinals. Building on that momentum, the dancers closed the weekend with an exceptional showing in Jazz, earning an impressive 3rd Place finish at the national level.

This achievement reflects months of dedication, hard work, and commitment from our student-athletes, along with the incredible support of coaches, families, and our school community. Our dancers showed exactly what it means to Be Birmingham by performing with boldness, brilliance, and heart, being all they could be on the national stage. We could not be more proud of their representation of our school.

Congratulations to the Seaholm Dance Team: Jayna Cunningham, Brooke Kivimaki, Brooke Learman, Taylor Luskey, Lily Miller, Audrey Schmier, Annalise Toma and Morgan Wolfson.  Here is the video of their Bronze Medal performance.

  1. Congratulations to this talented team! Coach Leilani Sibinovski has done an amazing job. From our huge sideline group in the fall to this Bronze Medal performance, the Dance Team at Seaholm is a dynamic varsity sport. PS. I also loved the Pom routine you previewed for us at the girls basketball game!
