Maples Defeat Southfield A&T

With an incredible second half effort, the Seaholm Maples defeated the Warriors 55-50.
The Maples excelled in all aspects of the game. Outstanding defense, efficient transition ball, steady offense and free-throws were important. The hallmark of the night was the mental toughness with which Coach Christopher Manchester’s team fought for the full 32 minutes.
The Maples were led by Addy Kitzman with 23 points. Hazel Guffy scored 16 and Erin Sheckell netted 7.
Seaholm returns to action this Thursday against Royal Oak. The Unified game is at 4 PM. The JV starts at 5:30, and the Varsity tipoff is at 7 PM.
