100 Yard Butterfly State Cuts

Pictured above, Senior Carter Richmond earned a state cut earlier this month with a time of 55.88 in a home meet against Stoney Creek.
Pictured below, Senior Elliot Rijnovean joined Carter in earning his state cut in the 100 butterfly against Farmington with a time of 52.20.
Both Elliot and Carter have been members of the Maples State Team in previous seasons. This was Carter’s first state cut this season, and Elliot’s third state cut this season. Elliot also has state cuts in the 100 freestyle and 100 backstroke.
The Maples have four dual meets left this season to help grow the state team even more, with the Maples hosting cross-town rival Groves on Tuesday, February 10th.
