Senior Caleb Garrett Named MHSAA Scholar-Athlete Finalist
Congratulations to Seaholm Senior Caleb Garrett who was selected as an MHSAA Scholar-Athlete Finalist. This prestigious award goes to the top scholar-athletes in the state. Garrett’s selection as a finalist puts him in the top 24 male student-athletes in Class A for this year’s senior class – statewide.
The winners of the award will be announced on January 30.
Caleb is a captain of the BU Lacrosse team which he helped lead to OAA and Regional Championships in 2025. He is a 3-year varsity player who has earned All-League and All-State academic honors. Garrett is a National Merit Commended Student and 3-time OAA Scholar-Athlete.
Caleb is the winner of the Pythagoras Scholar Mathematician Award (2023), AP Scholar with Distinction Award (2024-25) and the Mitch Fischer Memorial Scholarship Award (2025).
A DECA State Qualifier, Garrett is a member of the National Honor Society and the Spanish NHS. He volunteers for SOS Club and Habitat for Humanity.
In his spare time Caleb runs a lawn care company that he founded, plays guitar and officiates youth games as a certified lacrosse referee.
In the fall, Garrett will attend the University of Michigan College of Engineering.
