Groves Skater Emilia Nemirovsky Notches Top 10 Finish at Nationals

Congratulations to Groves High School sophomore Emilia Nemirovsky, who earned a top 10 finish at the 2026 U.S. Figure Skating Championships. Emilia delivered an outstanding performance at last weekend’s national competition in St. Louis.
A powerful, poised, and artistic skater, Emilia continues to build an impressive résumé. She previously won gold at last year’s Midwestern Sectionals and recorded back-to-back fourth-place finishes at the U.S. Nationals.
Adding to the excitement, Groves alum and Olympic silver medalist Benjamin Agosto provided on-air commentary for Peacock during Emilia’s performance. He even gave a shout-out to their shared Birmingham connection during the broadcast.
