Birmingham United Girls JV and Varsity Sweep Troy Athens!
Wednesday, May 6th Birmingham Girls Lacrosse JV and Varsity faced against The Troy Athens Red Hawks at Athens Field.
JV got the evening started with a dominate victory and ended their game 15-1.
Varsity kept the ball rolling after an offensive shootout with Athens but ended the evening with a decisive victory; 23-13.
Caitlin Oguin led the charge with an impressive performance, scoring 7 goals and securing 9 draw controls. Coco Jelenic also made a significant impact, netting 8 goals and controlling 8 draws. Kasey Chinonis contributed with 2 goals, 2 caused turnovers, and 8 draw controls. Jordan Schoenberg showcased her playmaking skills with 1 goal and 3 assists, while Jane Brush added 3 goals to the tally. Avery Seilheimer and Elle Kisabeth each scored 1 goal, helping to solidify the team’s dominant win.
