Birmingham Lacrosse Defeats Clarkston 13-12
Birmingham, MI – The Birmingham Bulldogs lacrosse team defeated Clarkston in a critical OAA Red match-up on Tuesday. Birmingham took a 6 goal lead into the 4th quarter, but Clarkston fought back and dropped the margin to 1. The Bulldogs held on for the big win in this game with significant OAA Red Division consequence.
Birmingham was led by junior, Brody Feldmaier who scored 6 goals and 3 assists on the night. Check out the video below of one of those goals with an assist from James Liebler. Liebler and Noah Bigelman each scored 2. Caleb Garrett, Will Forberg and Jake Coyle scored one each.
Conrad Swanson was the leader in the pipes, but the defense was anchored tonight by sophomore Nick Holcomb who played solid close defense and led several clears and fast breaks.
Birmingham heads to Grand Rapids this weekend to face Caledonia on Friday and Forest Hills Eastern on Saturday.
